We are looking for someone who can take on the position as VP of Marketing and is driven by this mission.

Cultural marketing is a way to translate the Simple Feast culture into amazing events, engagements, and compelling content that piques interest, inspires people, and helps Simple Feast form a stronger relationship with them. Most importantly, it’s a way to promote what we care about and attract the people who share our values (from employees, to customers, to business partners). Customers want to support brands whose values align with their own.

What you’ll do

You will be responsible for building brand relevance through the execution of programs that embody the Simple Feast community and lifestyle. 

The VP of Marketing supports the development and execution of Simple Feast Brand in the United States’ culture-focused marketing initiatives. Through events, dinners, podcasts, artists and chef collaborations, and partnership with thought leaders, the VP of Marketing builds Global brand affinity while manifesting the Simple Feast US strategies.

Your responsibilities will include:

Strategic planning

  • Responsible for developing the overall strategy, optimizing the development of products and services, and executing the annual Marketing business plan.
  • Working with US GM for the development of regional Marketing business plans to ensure quality planning and execution of all Simple Feast owned and supported Cultural Marketing events in the region.
  • Provides marketing information and influences present and future products by determining and evaluating current and future market trends.
  • Play an instrumental role in the go-to-market plans and strategies for the brand, including product launch plans, product news, marketing and promotion plans.
  • Develop the digital marketing, content, and social media strategies for the brand across campaigns, driving clear decision-making and key stakeholder alignment.
  • Project-lead cross functional teams responsible for manifesting the Simple Feast Brand and audience development: Marketing, Production, Customer Love, and Insights/Analytics.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define & implement the Simple Feast US and Global Culture tone of voice across all channels.
  • Effectively manage allocated resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of projects.

Team Building

  • Responsible for recruiting and hiring the Simple Feast US Marketing Team.

Events

  • Drive effective project leadership across culture projects and events, participating in project kick-off, post mortem and recap exercises to define and evaluate what success looks like.
  • Oversight of US Communications to maintain brand consistency and achieve optimal outcome.

Partnerships

  • Identify and collaborate with outside Brands and Partners to amplify the Simple Feast ethos and voice.
  • Nurture these relationships with both National and Regional Artists and Thought Leaders to amplify our existing culture initiatives, reinforce our position as THE LIFESTYLE Brand in the 'plant based food innovation scene", and drive conversion.
  • Design, create and develop influencer and athlete marketing plans across culture programs and projects.
  • Identify relevant artist and opinion leader stories and help create opportunities to amplify THEIR reach within and beyond the region.
  • Establish a rich network of culture and media scenes and contacts to maintain awareness of emerging trends and opinions leaders.

Brand Manifestation

  • Further manifest the brand through longtail efforts like a Simple Feast Podcast or online / email Editorial Content.

Further qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience 
  • 7+ years of direct management experience with demonstrated success leading and motivating teams as well as managing cross-functional teams
  • Expertise in building, mentoring and managing world class cross-functional brand and marketing teams
  • Proven experience in project and department management, including responsibility for developing business plans, market forecasts, and budget management
  • Experience in interpreting consumer data and shaping content and campaigns for maximum ROI
  • Strong global branding and reputation management skills
  • Possess and demonstrate excellent strategic capabilities, analytical and creative problem-solving abilities and work organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication, conflict resolution and influence management skills
