We are looking for someone who can take on the key position of Culinary Production Chef.
What you’ll do
Cook & taste our delicious plant-based recipes
Develop and implement production schedules to meet forecast projections and adjust as necessary
Manage food costs, waste, and labor to lead a profitable facility
Guide team members (Cooks) to ensure all menu, production, and preparation expectations are followed in accordance with company standards
Develop daily production schedules and assign team production tasks and priorities. .
Hold team members accountable for adherence to company standards and policies and operation procedures, as well as coaching and counseling as needed to drive performance and efficiency
Ensure team members are trained to use equipment in a safe & sanitary manner.
Adherence to and enforcement of the standard principles of safety and sanitation in food production; ensure the cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of designated storage and work areas, large & small equipment and utensils used in food production
Utilize innovative solutions to address quality, food safety, and sanitation issues to drive process improvements.
Your skills and experience:
5+ years of previous managerial/supervisory chef experience running high volume production in a commissary or manufacturing/production or catering facility, with 5+ years of food production specific experience.
Demonstrate excellent people management skills, while providing timely and meaningful coaching to motivate a diverse team.
Thrive in a fast pace production environment. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of food and kitchen standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a high attention to detail
Serv-Safe & Food Handlers Certification
Must have intermediate level skills with general computer programs and production related software programs (Microsoft Office, industry specific software)
