The Role

As a Copywriter on the creative team at Simple Feast, you’ll be tasked with helping to define and elevate our brand voice through compelling copy, creative ideas, clever turns of phrase, and campaigns that drive business and move our brand forward.

Reporting to the Global Head of Creative, you will be responsible for the day-to-day creative development of various cross-channel assignments that push us ahead in our category and build a sense of love with our community. Some examples are: brand campaigns, owned and paid social ads, website content, sales/collateral, and digital advertising.

You will ...

  • Write and concept big ideas for all mediums, including mobile, social, app design/product, film, interactive, content, activations, OOH, print, events, experiential, events, etc.
  • Collaborate with an Art Director to create on-brand messaging for all assets
  • Craft Simple Feast’s brand narrative for internal and external consumption, in collaboration with our Marketing Team, Culinary Team, and Founders
  • Execute copy that cuts through the noise, elevates the customer experience, and communicates a strong brand story connected to our menu and mission 
  • Proactively concept and create original social content, from captivating captions and IG stories that integrate copy with native tools, to video treatments and new content franchise ideas.
  • Present ideas in a clear and focused way that builds consensus within the team

You are/have...

  • A concise writer who is able to inhabit the voice, tone and character of each channel, interacting with the community and the larger cultural conversation.
  • An experimenter who is constantly looking for new ways to surprise, delight and engage with viewers.
  • Highly collaborative, driven by creative excellence 
  • Organized, independent, and adaptable to fast-paced workflow
  • An ability to ideate and execute based on data and business objectives
  • A self-starter with a constant desire to improve + remain innovative in an ever-evolving marketplace
  • Positive, solution-oriented and flexible

At a minimum, you have...

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in copywriting at a creative/branding agency or design-led consumer brand
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and experience with Google Docs
  • Brand-centered portfolio showcasing knowledge of social copy, campaign work, and digital brand storytelling (work on food and beverage a major plus)
  • Experienced in growth marketing and working on global creative a plus 
  • A deep understanding of social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube
  • Passion for language, well-timed puns, and emojis and infographics alike
  • A love for food and the health of the planet
